Vulcanization

Our shoes are entirely produced using the Vulcanization method: a process that utilizes natural rubber obtained from the rubber plant as raw material.

Vulcanization is indeed one of the healthiest and most ecological methods for shoe production

ECO-FRIENDLY

The natural rubber is extracted from sustainable plantations and processed without the addition of chemical substances, such as mastics, solvents, and other petroleum-derived substances.

HANDMADE IN ITALY

Our shoes are produced in our factory in Lugo (RA). The rubber is processed and transformed into granules approximately 3mm in diameter, which, when melted in the molds, become the felt casing (material compacted from fabric waste) and the heel made of real natural cork.

Vulcanization allows for zero waste, as all the excess material that is subsequently trimmed can be reworked and returned to raw material, making our shoes 100% eco-friendly

THE ADVANTAGES OF “GREEN” SHOES

The internal heel of the footwear is made of natural cork, which, being unaffected by chemical substances, maintains all its original properties. Cork insulates the foot and absorbs the moisture that forms inside the shoe, ensuring maximum comfort and well-being.
